About the Fest:

The Gujarat Tourism, in collaboration with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), will be organizing the Dharoi Adventure Festival 2026 from 23rd January to 23rd February 2026 (tentatively for around 30 days). To support this grand celebration of adventure tourism, extensive promotional and engagement activities will be carried out across various platforms.

This flagship event represents a model of effective collaboration, strategic planning, and dedication toward advancing adventure tourism in India. The festival aims to position Dharoi as a leading destination for adventure enthusiasts and build a benchmark for large-scale tourism initiatives.

Located amidst serene waters, rugged granite hills, and a cluster of scenic islands, Dharoi Dam offers immense potential to be transformed into a world-class adventure tourism hotspot.

Objectives of the Adventure Fest : 

- Promote Dharoi Dam as a premier adventure tourism destination within Gujarat and across India.

- Engage certified adventure operators to ensure safe, high-quality, and memorable visitor experiences.

- Encourage community involvement by integrating local businesses and initiating skill development programs.

- Establish sustainable infrastructure to support long-term growth in the adventure tourism sector.
