Overview

Built in 1897 by rulers of the Parmar dynasty of Madhya Pradesh, this palace emulates. Doric columns and an airy architecture. With views of the surrounding hills, home to nilgai, wild boar, peacocks, and migratory birds in winter, the property is unusual in offering a day tariff (10am to 6pm) as well as offering overnight stays for those passing through.

It’s a varied property for its size, with heritage rooms as well as more modest but equally pretty cottage stays and well-furnished tents.

Meals are charged extra. Trekking, riding, an Eco treasure hunt, campres, boating, and bullock cart rides are on offer, as well as such conference team-building exercises such as zip lining, air rie shooting, tyre walking and crossing a Burma bridge.

Nearby Besides Champaner-Pavagadh and Jambughoda, suggested excursions include Kevadi eco-campsite for cave exploration enthusiasts, the Sukhi Dam and Makhania Hills for hiking and just enjoying the nature and its surroundings.
