This is unique musuem & culture centre, the 1st in the entire state of Gujarat. In 9000 sqare feet area, it houses ethnic dolls from morethan 100 countries.

It was inaugurated by former Deputy Prime Minister Shri L.K Advani on 24th July 2004

Rotary's Unique Project:

First time in the history of Rotary more than 600 clubs of 100 countries participated directly in any project. Rotarians from all over the world have sent dolls, which reflects the culture of their region. 
Confluence of Culture: Over 1500 dolls represent the wide spectrum of International culture. You will find dolls made from rags and waste papers to those made with gold and silver threads. The value of dolls range from Rs.1 to Rs. 400,000. 
Well-designed Info Kiosks — Entire world on your screen "Info Kiosks", computers with touch screen monitors are kept for detailed information with a selection of English and Gujarati Language on any country, city or Continent, from its National Anthem to Year of Independence, from locating your favourite doll to check the time zone of the place from a doll has arrived. 

Museum Timings: Except Monday: From 9:30am to 1:30pm & 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Monday Closed Ticket Window closes half-hour before the Museum time.

Air-Conditioned Cinematheque-For Fun and Entertainment: While you are at in the world of dolls, children also get an opportunity to see their favourite fables, folk stories, cartoon films and fairy tales in Gujarati, Hindi and English. 

Theme Showcases — Creating Environment: For each doll we have created a theme showcase, which reflects the culture of the region and is placed with their country flag. Theme showcases have been crafted using indigenous material like wood pulp; wood saw dusts and paper mache, etc. 

 

Interesting facts

Foreign Language Learning Centre:

The Language Library at the Rotary Dolls Museum has more than 40 foreign and over 10 Indian Languages that can be learnt by the students. This is a self-paced computer-based Language centre.

Souvenir Shop: You can buy stickers, country flags, Picture postcards, stationeries for children etc. from the shop for memorabilia, which can be a reminder of your sweet memories.

Guided Tour: The Museum has well-trained staff and tour operators who will be pleased to take you on a tour of Museum without any charges.

Amenities at Museum: We have waiting lounge, manned luggage area, safe & cold drinking water facility, rest room facility, elevator and parking facility.
